Disappointing

The owner commenced with renovation work while we were staying at the Homestay. The renovation included connecting our balcony to a walkway. This entailed listening to angle grinders, hammering and shouting from 06:30 to 19:00 for several days. On complaining about the noise, the owner refused to cease the construction and rudely told us to vacate the premises. The renovation might offer a face-lift to the building but the owner's lack of hospitality will leave many cracks and faults in any person's experience of the establishment.

Very good

The property as well as the room is much smaller than I imagined. The room is narrow. You would not like to spend much time in it. The staff is cordial and helpful with suggestions.

They provide an electric kettle in the room, but no teabags and the lone shop keeper nearby who sells teabags is decidedly rude and charges almost 5 times the price. It is my suggestion that they should start providing teabags/coffee at a price or as free.

Best guest house in White town, Pondicherry.

Guest house is located at heart of White Town. Worth of each penny and very economical. Staff were so polite and helpful. Albert anna is gem of a person. 1. They don't have restaurant or cafe. However, you can bring food from outside or order online. 2. You'll get water facility, tea or Coffee. 3. Unmarried couple can live with non local government ID. 4. If you book delux room, you'll get AC and TV. 5. From guest house to Rock beach is just 2 minutes walk. 6. You can rent a bike. Conclusion : Heart guest house for couple or family. We enjoyed our stay and time in pondy.

Nearer

At the location,staff was very attentive and courteous.Though our request for early check in was not entertained but they made sure to provide us the basic refreshments.And the same was settled at the time of check out by letting us stay in common area till evening. Special thanks to Parmeshwari Didi,the house help for providing tea...also the owner of the house is good to us. Last the location is very nearer to many attractions.

One advice, daily house keeping is needed.

Everything was good, location, room amenities, staff hospitality etc

i did not like the room placement, as it was right next to the reception area, and extra water bottles are chargeable, should at least provide water bottle everyday.
