Basic room, good location.

The room was not bad, but basic. The bed was very comfortable. Based on the price, I was expecting something a bit more luxurious. The location is very good, next to the beach and very good connection with Brighton by bus.

The bathroom, even though clean, needs a bit of an upgrade.

Affordable and okay for business travel

It's a pleasant hotel with decent food.

The rooms are a bit tired, our curtains were hanging off the hooks and the bathroom door handle needed attention

Only the top floor sea view rooms are worth staying at

We booked 2 nights in this hotel, but due to availability, we got 2 different room. We liked the one for the 2nd night, which was on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the sea. Such rooms are the only ones worth staying at this hotel, in my opinion, at the price point. It was nice to relax on the balcony with drinks and food. Internet in the room was good enough for me to do some remote work including a conference call. The ground floor restaurant has good enough food (if not a bit bland) but a thai restaurant is just across the small street on the way to the beach! Staff were accommodating.

The room for the 1st night had a view to the parking lot; not worth the price point. The 2nd room with the balcony does not provide any wardrobe to store our clothes in. There is no fridge in either room.

Very good

very good value, family friendly, seafront location with amazing sea views

Very friendly and helpful staff. excellent breakfast. View from bedroom was amazing with balcony and chairs to watch the sea only feet away. Seemed very family friendly. Nothing pretentious or grand, just very good value, friendly place.
