Beautifully decorated seafront hotel

Beautifully decorated, spacious and chilled place to stay, right on the seafront. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good value, we'll definitely be back!

A little cold in the evening heading into night, maybe take an extra jumper.

Noisy bedroom ruined a potentially great stay

Friendly staff, easy check in, nice room, clean bathroom, great location.

Everything completely ruined by a loud humming noise inside the room. Made it very difficult to sleep. Would've been a great stay if the noise wasn't there.

overall, we still loved it none the less and would most likely stay again!

the free tea and coffee was an excellent idea, and breakfast was nice. the 24/7 reception was lovely, meaning we could go out and come back late.

breakfast could have been better, or more simple ideas for example, toast, cereal, because sometimes its the better option. i was a little disappointed we didnt have mini fridges as we could have kept more snacks and drawers etc for clothing.

Lovely location, shame about the rest

The property is in a wonderful location, right on the seafront, near great parking, local bars and restaurants. The bed was comfortable.

- there are no tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom. Communal tea and coffee is available downstairs but this regularly run out and the water was cold - there are no TVs in the rooms - the pillow was awful, very flat and only one pillow offered - the doors and windows are so thin so it does get very noisy. - the bathroom was VERY dirty around the shower. I dont think this had ever been cleaned. The shower tray itself was clean inside the shower but the dirt around the shower and outside made me feel rather sick! - upon checking in we had a new member of staff, she was so friendly and polite, however her colleague who offered her help was extremely condescending. - we paid 125 for this hotel which I believe is extremely high considering the lack of facilities. - bare in mind as well most of this hotel has now been turned into a hostel, with people coming and going all hours of the day. Therefore I would not recommend this as a family hotel at all.
