Booked a twin room in the listing when we got there it was a double bed and they said they didnt have any sheets, I separated the bed like they instructed but no sheets to cover to stained mattresses absolute shocking it was as I had to sleep with my clothes on

Comfortable and welcoming

I liked the property over all, it was a comfortable stay.

I did contact about the WiFi as I had no signal or WiFi on my phone during my stay and I was asked to restart the router which I didnt know how or where it was.

Unclean do not stay here

Pictures are not actually what my room was very cold there was a stain on the bed aswell as black mold growing in the corners of the room right near the bed, the room and the hallway smells so unhappy and strange white stain on headboard

Noisy and dirty

Absolutely awful. From the moment we opened the main / front door. It looked cheep, dated and shabby.

The property is situated on an extremely busy road. The noise from the traffic was just unbearable. We actually only stayed in the property for less than hour before making the decision to find alternative accommodation. Not only was the noise ridiculously loud, but there was continuous sirens and horns honking. It certainly was not the quiet break we had been looking forward to. As we appreciated the noise was not the property owners fault, it should have been mentioned prior to booking. We wouldnt have booked this property had we have known. The glass in the front room / bedroom windows was 3/4 frosted (no doubt due to the busy road) which left the top part of the window clear glass. In the brief time we were there, coaches full of people were stopping on the road outside and looking down into our private room! We were mortified. What an absolutely horrific situation to be in when wed booked a private room. The bathroom was actually outside of the room, and although it did say external on the booking site, we had no idea it would be situated in a shared hallway with other guests using the hallway for their bathroom visits too. This is not ideal if you use the bathroom during the night as you would have to keep on getting dressed to go. It was also nothing at all like the photos advertised. It was dirty and shabby - with all yellow stains around the inside of the toilet seat. All in all we were extremely disappointed by our booking. After several messages back and forth with the property they have decided not to refund us a penny. It is certainly not a professional way of handling a situation and we have lost out financially by choosing to stay here, which we now, understandably, regret. This property is definitely NOT worth the price and we will not be recommending this!

Recommend

I have stayed in this location numerous times. In different rooms. It is always nice and clean. Set up really nice, all the essentials are there so I don't need to take everything with me. Makes it easier to pack. They always leave water and tea and coffee things and biscuits.

The car noise is loud, but it's on a main road, so not a great deal can be done about it. Doesn't put me off going again. But that's the only thing I don't like.
