Great experience, beautiful family. Very good value for money.

The family are so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was large with two very comfortable double beds. They also have a tuk tuk which was very handy. We were given a room with a kitchen, with a two-ring burner and a small fridge. Small shared communal space at the front. Everything is extremely clean.

No hot water. Not a problem for us, but maybe should be mentioned. Our window opened onto the side of the family's house, which was a storage area. The bathroom although very clean needs some attention, especially to the toilet and window area. All minor issues, could be sorted.

Lovely big and clean room/bathroom

Lovely big and clean room and bathroom with good working Wi-Fi and fan. Our room was upgraded on arrival to one with a kitchen which we didnt actually use or need but was still a nice touch! Hosts lived next door and were available when needed but respected our space and were not overbearing. The property is located a 15 minute walk away from the beach and very close to the Unawatuna bus stop which makes it very convenient for accessing the beach, Unawatuna and also the surrounding area by bus, including Galle. A small part of the walk is on the busy main road with no pavement and buses driving past quickly. This wasnt a problem for us, just something to be aware of!

No hot water in the shower but this wasnt a big problem for us as it was hot anyway! No toiletries provided. Toilet leaked into the bathroom a little.

Sleep like a baby and very calm and quiet. Very kind and attentive service. Best in unawatuna.

I was travelling with my guests and I stayed at a place called "Green Garden which is known as "galle my banglow" in Google. While I was sleeping there came some people and they started drinking alcohol. They were singing, fighting with each other and vomiting infront of my room. As i was travelling with my guests from 18th I was so tired and I couldn't sleep because of those drunk people. I asked the manager of the hotel to stop it but what he did was just switched off the phone. I was really shocked and I packed my things up and drive to no where in the middle of the night. I was searching for a place (made some bookings but they didn't respond. ) and finally I found this place in the morning (4.00am) and he never neglected my request. He went beyond his limits to keep me safe in the middle of the night. Even I scored them 10/10 it was not enough. I will definitely visit them for my next tours.

Lovely family

The location is really good. Walking distance from everywhere, the bus stop is in front of the house. The family is also really nice. I twisted my ankle and all of them were really helpful, even giving me their Ayurvedic medicine ;) WiFi also really good. They also have a tuk-tuk service in case you need it!

Bare in mind that when you choose to stay at a homestay rather than a hotel you are helping the local community/economy and their families. Always choose homestays whenever you can :)

Amazing family, we enjoyed our stay so much. They also invited us to buy fish at the market and cooked it in there kitchen. They have there own tuktuk service and thats perfect to go everywhere. Thank you for this great hospitality. We will definitely come back again...
