Gem in Split

We were excited to find this little gem in Split. It is ideally located 5 minutes walk from the palace and was very comfortable and affordable. The free parking was an added bonus, although a small car is an advantage. The host Danjel was very friendly and helpful (Ana is his mother as we found out). Take the footpath behind the hotel down town to avoid the busy road.

The hotel itself, the location, and the breakfast were all very good, but it was Danijel who made our stay exceptional. He truly went above and beyond! So glad we took Rick Steves' advice for this affordable hotel.

A comfortable stay

Free parking. Very close to old town. Good breakfast. Very friendly owner who helped us to park our car. Special attention needed to check the location in advance because the Google map is not accurate.

We enjoyed our stay in Villa Ana, such a fantastic location. Staff member at reception was really friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location, just five minute walk to Old Town. Spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast in the restaurant in the adjoining Villa Diana.

Beds were not the most comfortable.

Great, clean, well equipped studio with fabulous location to Old City.

Great location a few minute walk to Old Town. Very clean room with comfortable bed, small kitchen and lovely patio. Parking was provided. Hosts clearly provided all necessary information to enter a day in advance.

Very little room to open suitcase. Great place for short stay.

Great hotel, excellent location!

Hotel set back off a busy street, but still relatively quiet (we had a room at back of building). Only 5 rooms in hotel, so very small. Rooms impeccably clean, staff very helpful and welcoming. Sandy Beach is 5 minute walk (highly recommend enjoying it). Breakfast served in hotel next door; it was very good. Easy walk to promenade, harbor and sights of Split. Host gave good restaurant recommendations. Stayed here & at Hotel President - Villa Ana far better hotel though not as highly ranked in stars. Cleaner, nicer room & bath, nicer staff, better location.

No complaints - very satisfied with hotel and our stay.

Delightful!

Breakfast was great and service friendly. The location is perfect for walking into village but tricky for parking. Dan the propriator was very helpful and engaging!
