We had a very pleasant few days there

Nice clean hotel with pleasant staff. Breakfast was pretty good with plenty of choice and nice views. The hotel is in a quietish area with a decent size supermarket within 10 mins walk and several restaurants very close by. The beach is about 15 to 20 minutes walk and gets very busy. There a some quite steep hills to contend with to get there.

Not much local entertainment and shopping as it's a 20 min taxi ride from the nearest town centre (Albafuera, and that's only if interest if you like football and drinking contests) .

A relaxing short stay at an hotel we last stayed in 12 years ago, and which has been upgraded since

Superb suite with dual aspect large windows. Expansive bathroom. Very large bed. A reasonable choice for breakfast, and served until 10:30.

The very large windows, overlooking the main road did mean that the noise levels from traffic were more intrusive than we would have liked. Some elements require minor maintenance - e.g. the wardrobe doors did not slide freely - I suspect that they were not correctly aligned on their rails. The cushions on the two bed settees in the lounge area of the suite had not been correctly fastened back to the metal structure and kept sliding forwards.
