Very good

Good hotel, but overpriced on Booking

The hotel is very well located at the center of Buenos Aires. Room was sufficiently spacious and clean. The breakfast was ok, but more fruit and a bigger choice of eggs would have been nice (they only prepared scrambled eggs). Staff was friendly and forthcoming. They gave me an early check-in and prepared a breakfast to go on the day of departure, since I had to leave early in the morning.

This is clearly not the hotel's fault, but with the parallel currency exchange rates the prices on Booking do not reflect the real value of the room. It should be said, however, that the hotel offered the possibility to pay cash at a more convenient exchange rate. The hotel is generally ok, but slightly run down. The shower is leaking and I always ended up with water on the bathroom floor.

The location of the hotel was very good. Walking distance to historical sites. Breakfast was good. The employees in the breakfast section were very attentive and the service was good.

The hotel did not meet our expectations for the price. it was expensive. The bed was old and broken. Towels and pillows were not clean. The reception staff was not very attentive. They were not helpful and gave wrong information.

Decent but disappointing stay

The staff was friendly, polite and did their best to assist us despite not speaking English. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast offer was decent if not impressive. The location is practical and central, but not in one of the prettier neighborhoods so you do have to walk a bit or take a cab to the more interesting areas of the city.

You can tell the place has not been renovated in a while, everything was shabby, there were old stains and scrapes in a lot places. The mattresses were not very comfortable and the shower stall leaked water on the floor. We felt the pictures online did not match the reality we experienced and felt disappointed considering the price.

Everything is old. The ceiling in the room was dirty and cracked. There were small insects in the bathroom that crawled out of the cracks when the shower was running

The staff that spoke English were extremely helpful.

They need to have 2 staff at reception not 1 as it could be very busy. I would rate the hotel as a 2 star not a 3 star hotel. The place is not as nice as the photos show. The room was extremely noisy from the street traffic and made sleeping at night difficult. The cantina across the street partied late into the night with drums and men yelling and getting any sleep was impossible. Problems with the air conditioning made the room very hot. Elevators very slow.

Needs good renovation

The location was perfect. That you can leave your staff and pick it later

The bed was sooo terrible! Fir a hotel the bed and matrace are the most important things they have to take care off! The sheets were smaller that the bed!! There was in some parts of the room bad renovation. The worst part was that when you had to take a shower then a huge leaking of the water was outside the shower. After a good renovation this hotel good be a very good one. In general the price you pay in Argentina is 200% more then the value you get!!!!
