Convenient but never staying here again.

Its in the heart of Auckland CBD so its easy to get around.

I booked a cot way in advance but to my dismay it wasnt available when I got there. My 2yo had to sleep in an adult bed on his own and he fell off. He also got bug bites due to the dirty carpet. To top it all off, the phones werent working and our laundry room was flooded for three days straight.

Location was excellent, staff were friendly and the room was very nice and spacious

Room smelled of curry from previous guests and the dishwasher wasn't working but these were not big issues for us

Easy walking to the waterfront, ferries, dining. Heaps of useful facilities - washing machine and drier, balcony with view to the harbour. Spacious.

Fantastic location and parking on site

I ordered a suite with 2 beds in one room, 1 bed bed n 2nd room. Only 2 beds in whole suite. Had a sofa bed so thought it would be ok until we tried to open it when we got home late from our function. It was broken. My son and I spent 1/2 an hour fixing it at 11:30 at night. Disappointed.

PROS: - The lady on reception was very nice and friendly - My room was ready so I was provided with an early checkin which was appreciated - Location is good, near Commerial Bay which has great shops and the ferries

CONS: - Stayed on the 5th floor, the hallway smelled like chip fat/grease - The room was VERY dated and old. Furniture was worn, bathroom old and overall very tired looking. Marks on the walls. - The view from the room was of a derelict building - The bed didnt have a doona on it, only a brown blanket between two bedsheets. There was an old doona in the wardrobe but it was really stained with yellow marks and smelled heavily of perfume/air freshener, and could not be used - The pool and sauna were out of order, something to note if this is a key reason why youd book this place - Overall it doesnt feel like a nice hotel it feels like an old dated rental apartment that is missing some of the comforts youd expect from a hotel at that price point. For the price paid, it would be better staying elsewhere. I would not stay again. - I was woken from sleep by a guy shouting outside, there might be a bar underneath/nearby the hotel

Very clean property. Nice room sizes and setup. Balcony size was huge and had chairs to sit.
