Had a great time.

The staff were friendly and helpful . The location was great for our purpose of attending a show at Palais Theatre.

The owner needs to spend some money and upgrade the fabric of the hotel. WE normally stay at a 5 star hotel in Melbourne, but this time we got the corner suite at The Prince. The room was large and nice. The bathroom was modern and good. However, the furniture on the living area was really gross, with sweat marks and stain on the couch and chair. Likewise in the downstairs bar/restaurant area, the furniture was stained and looked terrible.. If you are going to charge $500 a night for a corner suite, (and $80 for breakfast for 2) then spend some money on nice - clean furniture for the more expensive rooms.. at least. Other than that our experience was fine.

This hotel is cozy, quiet and clean. Also we loved the receptionist who suggested the nice thai restaurant and the bedding was very comfortable.

Price is a bit high and the edible water wasn't complimentary.....

Great location and access to all St Kilda has to offer

We stayed in an executive room with a balcony and lovely ensuite. The bed was the most comfy hotel bed I have ever slept in. Loved the drink voucher thanks

The only thing I would say was it was a little pricey. We paid more than everyone else we were travelling with, and when I questioned it, it was because we apparently booked an executive suite. We did love the balcony and if the beds are better than the standard room, Id highly recommend, cos it was so comfy!
