Very handy hotel, but maybe go elsewhere for breakfast.

Very warm welcome when we arrived and the room was beautifully furnished and comfortable. On site parking was good, and there were no problems getting back into the hotel after a very late night out.

We were very disappointed by the buffet breakfast. Very little choice, poor quality and a bit stale. The freshly cooked omelette, however, was delicious. Given that it was January when we stayed, it would have been nice to have had some extra bedding/blankets available.

Extremely good-value hotel, friendly clean and comfortable.

We booked a superior room. The bed was extremely large and comfortable, and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with good choices for vegetarians.

Although the style and quality of the furnishings and decor were lovely, here and there things were a little bit shabby round the edges e.g. a few marks on furnishings, and the sink tap was a bit wobbly. Nothing serious to mar our stay. I had previously stayed in a standard room, which felt less spacious and a bit more dull and functional. The shower in the standard room was also rather feeble, although in the superior room it was excellent.

The hotel is in a good location in the main street. The staff were friendly and welcoming, our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean; tea/coffee making facilities provided plus biscuits & bottled water.

Stayover while visiting family

Spacious, comfortable and well-appointed room. Handy parking.

Room was a little chilly on our late evening arrival, but the portable heater warmed it up. One ceiling light was flickering, but we were able to just use the lamps, so there was no real problem.

Welcoming and comfortable.

Very welcoming and comfortable. Quiet room gave us a good nights sleep. Perfect when visiting family.

Room was too hot on arrival, but soon solved by opening the window!

Good location, nice staff, rooms needs updating and some guests removed when they become problematic

Nice location with friendly staff.

There were three main issues: (1) The room only had an on/off plug in heater, (2) The bedsheets whilst clean had a couple of old stains, (3) Some guests looked of questionable character (addicts, etc) and could be very loud, banging around in the room above. Not sure if the hotel is involved in a Government assistance type programme or something.
