Very good

cosy city break.

Very homely hotel . The rooms were warm and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. The bar felt like a local pub which was nice. Overall the hotel had a cosy feel. The bus to the city only takes 15 minutes and is handy.

I stayed here a few years ago in a single room and really enjoyed my stay. I'd say the decor in the rooms feel old fashioned now and need updating. The bathroom was modernised. The garden was lovely last time I stayed but outdoor looks a little shabby now , it was winter though and poor weather.

Ok for One-night, but still try to look for something else if possible!

Good location, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Ample parking and electric charging.

Dirty furniture (see photo attached), extremely outdated rooms and dcor. The photos on booking.com v/s reality is very different. Windows wear leaking outside cold air, even when shut properly.

Disappointing

Needs a good update

Staff were lovely!

To begin when we dropped off our bags everything seemed ok with the room! However on our return we noticed that the tv was so old the remote was missing all the words and it was the slowest tv with hardly any upgrades! It was like being back in the 90s! And the bed and mattress was absolutely shocking! The springs were digging in our backs and extremely uncomfortable my partner noticed it was a memory foam mattress that was flipped so we flipped it again to a softer side which had lots of stains on it!! Extremely disappointed with our Boxing Day stay

We had a brilliant stay. Would definitely stay again

The rooms were spacious and clean. Friendly staff and a really welcoming atmosphere

The heating in the room wasnt great especially in December

Nice staff, food good .

Bed uncomfortable compared to previous stay . Window in the wall , bedroom to bathroom , not brilliant , lit whole bedroom up if needed to use bathroom during the night. Room 17 .
