Room was lovely, very clean, well presented, wet room rain shower great. Balcony great for sunset and sunrise photos. Great in room facilities and comfort. Very standard breakfast nothing special, buffet selection basic. Poor selection of whiskey for a Scottish hotel. No Drambuie, more whiskey cocktails would be good. Condiment pots were cracked and mug. Attention to detail missing in dining room. Staff very friendly.

Attention to detail in dining room. Car park poorly light and signed in dark, reception not easy to find in the dark.

Beautiful view of Loch Lomond, Kingsize bed

I booked this hotel because of the sauna facilities. It was a disappointment that I had to pay for the sauna 20 GBP for one hour. In Europe normally sauna is included for free and treatments can be booked separately against payment.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The restaurant and lounge were nice and welcoming.

The food we had for dinner was not good considering the price. The burger was very basic, there was so much burger sauce on it, my first bite had sauce falling off the burger all over the place, I had to use cutlery to eat it without making a mess. The fries were pale like they weren't cooked properly and the coleslaw was actually warm. I've had much better for almost half the price. Breakfast was also disappointing, it's called the full breakfast, but there was nothing full about it, there was hardly any food on the plate, which is ridiculous for the 17.50 cost, and the beans were cold like they'd been put on the plate straight out of the fridge. The apple juice also tasted like it hadn't even been near an apple. I didn't get much sleep as there was loud banging noises coming from above the room and outside, and then drunk people being very loud outside, I understand drunk people will be loud, but if i wanted to hear all of that I'd have stayed somewhere in the middle of a city surrounded by clubs and bars. So for a hotel in a small quiet village, that costs 179 for one night, I was expecting to get a decent sleep, but instead I left tired and disappointed.

Pleasant staff but was disappointed on other aspects of the stay

Staff pleasant and happy to help

Meals were not worth the money and choice was not selling the produce of Scotland. The balcony could have been lit up and when out on balcony area wet and water coming from the balcony above this could have been more like a roof / ceiling. There was no pool and this was advertised and this was what made me book The Lodge.

ARRIVED IN DARK CAR PARK NOT WELL LIT UP HARD TO FIND ROOM IN SECOND BUILDING BALCONY DOOR KEY DOSENT WORK SO YOU HAVE TO WALK THROUGH FULL BUILDING SAME ON EXIT Breakfast was ok but took 25 minutes to come out after ordered

The hotel and staff were amazing.

Our view was of a car park very disappointed as paid a lot of money for a view of Loch Lomond.

Poor

We paid over 450 for two nights and genuinely this was a huge disappointment

The health and safety concerns on arrival were concerning and I raised this with the reception staff straight away including the electrical rooms both being open and accessible despite a danger sign on them. The room and hallways was really disappointing in terms of cleanliness
