Fantastic

Great stay really enjoyed, well located, food is great and a comfortable stay. Not our first stay and wont be our last here.

Comfortable and very well located

A very comfortable room which had a nice view and also, most importantly, was quiet. Breakfasts are very good and a pint by the open wood fire a must. Lots of parking and the beautiful bird-teaming marshes are right on your doorstep

Lots of residents with dogs if that isn't your thing.

Bedroom above bar so can be a bit noisy in evening if planning to go to bed before pub closes

Magical.

The Inn is clearly used by locals and had a warm, intimate atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful, chatty and friendly and clearly enjoyed their work. They never gave the impression of being harried instead spending time chatting and making us feel comfortable even though they were clearly busy. Our meal was perfect, complimented by a delicious bottle of red wine. Our room had a sea view and was quiet and cosy. We loved the fact that there was a teapot and cafetire with a good choice of teas and coffees as well as both fizzy and still water. We can especially recommend the spacious and luxurious double headed power shower with constant hot water. We opted for this even though there was also a rolled top bath in the bathroom. The location is obviously a draw to The Lifeboat. It speaks for itself. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning very soon.

Nothing It was all wonderful. We especially loved the fact that the fires throughout the Inn were constantly roaring creating a warm, cosy atmosphere. Everything flowed and you didnt have far to walk to get anywhere.

The quality of the food was excellent! Very comfortable room. The staff were friendly, polite, and efficient. The real fire was a lovely feature.. We could not fault anything. We will be returning.

A gem by the coast. A little hide away.

The rooms were not like the pictures - it was a very basic room for 200 a night - they offered us another room in a place a drive away which was a good standard but very small for two adults and a dog walking and getting wet

Lovely festive break

Christmas atmosphere, great food and helpful, friendly staff. Modern and clean room, great location.

Bed was a bit firm for our taste, dressing stool would have been useful.

A lovely way to revisit a favourite place. Great walks, places to visit and sample local seafood.

We were travelling down to visit a sick friend near Diss and decided to stop off en route. We have been before, when staying in Hunstanton, for drinks and snacks. This was our 1st experience of accommodation. Excellent room, breakfast and menu choice for evening meals. We were made to feel very welcome, as was our dog!

All great. We struggled to get a signal for BBC. No problem for me...I a very good book, but my partner like sport and news on BBC!!
