A beautiful setting but staff very short so service not so good. One young girl rushed off her feet doing breakfast on her own. We were on 3rd floor and it was very cold in rooms and hall and stairs . All rads turned up full but still cold and drafty. Lovely room but starting to get shabby. Sea View from window excellent. Breakfast good but fresh fruit and orange juice not topped up as she didn't have time. The breakfast was lovely .

Set in a lovely place,green outside and across the road from the beach.

Bedroom tired and bathroom big and cold. Managed to have a better heater. Windows old and drafty.

Nursing home vibes, unrealistically priced

Location

I feel bad leaving a poor review as I could see the staff really are doing their best. But this hotel needs to rethink its prices as it charged 150 for a twin room inc breakfast but is not able to deliver a service to match. The decor is not just tired but unpleasantly shabby, the rooms are poorly furnished, and breakfast was not worth the extra 10 charge, going for high volume over quality( I had a large portion of pre-made scrambled eggs that were so thick they could be sliced). Evening meal was also mediocre. Charging st guests 6 per night to park in the residents car park is a first for me in any hotel anywhere, and sets a bad tone before guests have even checked in. All in, very disappointed and very overpriced for the level of service that currently can be delivered

Awesome spot & great facilities

Awesome spot! The location is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. We arrived early and they were able to check us in rather than dropping our bags which was an added advantage. This has to be one of the best pub hotels I've ever stayed in. Very cozy!
