Great place but very cold. Stayed in the summer and enjoyed it.

Breakfast was lovely and so was the evening meal. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

The whole place was freezing. The room radiators were not on at 3pm despite it being -1 when we arrived. The heating went off overnight and was not set to low. The pub/restaurant had one fire on. The radiators downstairs were not on in one of the bars. However the breakfast lounge heating in the morning was on for our breakfast. The room was dusty but generally ok.

At prices charged, expectations where a little higher

Everything you need is in the room, breakfast was tasty

Reception barely staffed, need to search for someone everytime. If you fancy a quiet room, every footstep heard, and at breakfast every conversation from the kitchen could be heard. A tiny bit of decorum and professionalism would make it more pleasant.

Absolutely perfect

We absolutely LOVE staying here! Its our 4th time and our happy place. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Charlie our 14 month Cavapoo was very anxious and they looked after him so well. Well definitely be back
