We had a lovely short stay with our dog at cherry farmhouse. Lovely rural location and only 15 minute drive into the centre of York. The owners could not be more welcoming or helpful! Very nice good sized room with fridge and microwave, perfect for a short stay. We were delighted to find tea, coffee, croissants, jam, butter, milk and orange juice on arrival! Cannot recommend enough!

Comfortable, cozy and peaceful.

Had everything you could ask for. Took our German Shepherd and plenty of room, lovely big garden and large patio area. Lovely walks nearby and beautiful countryside setting but still close to York.

Just great for me and the dog

Secure parking, lovely friendly and helpful hosts, perfect location for exploring around York. Hosts made a suggestion to use the park and ride into York, which I did, and there were fliers in the room for suggestions for things to do, plus suggestions for dinner. Very accommodating of the dog, and she was allowed to explore their massive garden and hang out with their dog Bruno. They helped sort the TV.... really it was just great

Beautiful stay!

The whole stay was perfect start to finish! On arriving, we had the key and the fob for the gates left for us. We arrived approx 7:30pm and we were hungry - there were takeaway menus in the room which was so nice! The bed was comfy and the extra touches were fab - the hairdryer, croissants, butter, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Theres a bookcase with jigsaws and games and books! Our dog Bailey absolutely loved running around the garden, sometimes accompanied by Bruno! Your place is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back again! Thank you so much Clare and Shaughn x
