The stay was ok however because of the poor bathroom services, the whole stay got ruined.

The location breakfast and room was nice, however the bathroom services were very bad. We lived there for two nights and there is no cold water in the bathroom. Despite of telling them on the first day, the hotel staff did not bothered to fix the issue. They have said that the water problem is because of the local council however that was never the issue. We had to manage everything including shower and other bathroom services using the hot/boiling water only as there was no cold water coming in the taps.Moreover the shower tap/mixer stopped working while i was in the middle of taking shower. They have replaced the shower head however the water pressure was still very poor/low and only the hot water is coming. We really struggled to take the shower and had to use the boiling hot water only.The overall water pressure in the bathroom is very very low and we had to manage somehow during our stay of two nights. Also the cottage guys never turned on the heating and when requested to turn it on , they stared lying that the heating is working. When we showed to them that the heating is not working at all, than they agreed to provide us the electric heater on the second day of our stay.

All in all a satisfying stay, despite the weather.

Welcoming staff, comfy bed,good breakfast.

The en-suite is very small, but this is typical for a town property of this nature. An observation rather than a complaint.

Fantastic peaceful two night stay. The lady serving breakfast was a joy, and really made us feel welcome.

Beautiful old cottage, breakfast area was very nice. Location was great with plenty of bars and eateries on the doorstep.

Parking was a bit tight, when cottage is full.

Stunning rooms, great location. Our stay was booked due to being stuck in adverse weather, the team at the hotel were outstanding, welcoming, helping us and just being lovely people

Fabulous !!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights as we had to abandon our car with the heavy snowfall on saturday, what a fab place to stay !!! our room was modern and very+ comfortable.What we loved most was the warm and friendly owners and lovely Muriel who served us breakfast nothing was too much trouble for them would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to them all for all there especially the owner for giving us lift back to our car which was a couple miles away so nice and thoughtful of him.Although it was difficult time with the heavy snowfall and all the problems it brought we enjoyed our stay at the cottage and will definately stay here again.x
