I would recommend Rum Doodle.

We stayed for 4 nights in December 2023, just after the snow fell. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, there was also a small breakfast table in our room where we could eat if we chose to. The theme of the room was based around the book 'The Ascent of Rum Doodle'. by Earnest Bowman. There was a copy of the book in the room, which was very funny. The bed was comfy and the pillows were excellent, meaning we had a good nights sleep.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Fab stay!

Very friendly staff who were more than happy to give you advice on where to go and how to get there. Easy for car parking. Very clean throughout with an excellent tea tray left in your room, which is restocked every day. Breakfast is of very good quality.

Quaint & Welcoming

The place is very quaint and I loved how each room is themed differently on explorers and nature. Also, loved the fact that we were welcomed to some warm mulled wine( it was freezing outside) Also, the breakfast is amazing !

Little less space for large luggage.
