Everything! The two-bedroom villa/chalet has 2 bathrooms, one toilet, equipped kitchenette, large living room with a dining table, outdoor seating area, and 2 parking spots. The private pool overviews the canal. The view is breathtaking, especially at night! The temperature of the pool was excellent, and you can ask them to change the temperature. The breakfast is also so delicious. Staff are cooperative and welcoming. You cannot go wrong with this luxurious hotel and resort!

Aesthetically beautiful...but lacking below the surface!

Aesthetically beautiful! The style and design of hotel makes it very pleasing to the eye. The hotel was clean throughout, good housekeeping services. The location is also great.. walking distance to Katara Village and close drive to other key attractions.

Guest service was a let down, especially the breakfast experience. The selection (at breakfast) was limited for a 5 star hotel with minimum international/global cuisine. In fact even basic oats porridge was amiss, no smoothies. But what really disappointed was the slow service...waiting for up to 15mins for tea/coffee, lots of staff but very few actually doing anything (not assigned to any specific tables), dirty glasses not cleared from counters, eggs that never arrived etc. Having raised my concerns with management directly, they were acknowledged, and a complementary afternoon tea was offered. We appreciated the gesture and hope that the management team use the feedback to address the issues because, as it stands it really downgrades the customer experience. Other points that unfortunately also reflected poorly and one usually expects from a 5 star hotel- no welcome drink upon arrival, no chocolates/sweet treat as part of turndown service, no cold flannels at pool. In summary, lacking any personal touch. Finally, the sun lounger cushions could do with an upgrade.(currently thin and stained!).
