Where to begin. This place is awful to say the least. I'm so confused with booking.com giving it a *good rating. SOOOO deceiving pictures. Room was more or less 10x12 size max. 2 people arent able to move around without bumping into each other. The SHOWER OMG it's ridiculous. I'm 5 7, hubby 5.10 we COULDN'T MOVE around in the ridiculous small shower and the water hiting like a water hose. Nothing like vintage or cozy but old and beaten up place. We wanted to leave the minute we stepped in. Keep in mind that the city offers FREE transportation to EVERYWHERE. The place doesn't make up for being in a good location and for $400 F* dollars a night. Standards are below an old motel. We learned later that MOST hotels offer FREE shuttles EVERYWHERE. AFFF No one at the front desk at night so it's unsafe and if you don't have the code to get in after 8pm you WILL stay OUTSIDE. No one to call for help. Talking breakfast_ there is no room for it to be served so they have a small table right at the entrance to serve some yuki coffee and some old cereal and fruits that are sitting out there all day just to make u sick. Owners should definitely improve the place and stop cheating on people with filtered and edited pictures. I felt so sorry for my husband paying that much money for this ridiculous hotel. Ahhhh do yourself a favor and save your vacation.

Disappointing

Not a pleasant stay.

The location is great and there was parking.

The bathroom had a sink that was tiny and didnt drain at all. I told the gal at the front desk, and she said shed have someone look at it and fix it, but never did. The bathroom floor was showing evidence of dry rot. Clearly this is an old building that needs something more than TLC. When I checked out the gal upon hearing how nothing was fixed and I could barely use the sink, said shed have a manager call me. No one ever did.

Great first trip to Steamboat with a central location to stay.

Very central location for Downtown. Staff very friendly and helpful with advise on places to eat, visit as our first time there. Travelled for a college visit from Chicago- great place for our son to go to college, and fab snow sports facilities for him as well as summer adventures. Very friendly town, everyone happy and helpful

Just felt hotel a little tired in places, but it is an old place...

The hotel was great for a quick getaway to Steamboat where we wanted to easily walk around down town

The location was great, loved the little touches with the do not disturb signs, everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

The breakfast could have a few more options, and it would have been nice to see late check in described better - but thats it!

Quaint hotel and perfect location. Welcoming staff and environment. Yummy scones! Super cozy bed.

The bathroom area is small ish but worked well enough to get ready for a wedding.

Small loud hotel with pleasant staff.

Staff was very friendly.

Not an upscale hotel, though is centrally located. A guest sat in the parking lot drinking bourbon that afternoon and evening, trying to strike up conversation every time I walked by...not a good experience. Rooms were very small with lots of noises (kids) in the halls right outside.
