The Residence Inn by Marriott Steamboat Springs is a clean and modern hotel with well-laid out studios. The location is convenient with access to a Safeway and free city bus. Some guests had minor is (Read More)sues with housekeeping scheduling and icy sidewalks. However, overall, guests enjoyed their stay, praising the friendly staff, amenities such as the hot tub and gym, and the breakfast buffet. The only complaint was limited parking, but public transit options were available.

Very good

Great time, no time for disappointment.

The suite was very nice.

$125.00 pet charge was very outrageous, for a couple days. I assumed through Booking, on booking a pet friendly room it was included in the final price they gave me.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was spotless as was the entire property. Bed very comfortable. Excellent location.

Walls seemed thin. I could hear conversation from the next room as if they were in my room.

We couldnt reached the hotel because a medical issue. I wrote the hotel by booking, by mail and nobody answered me. Its a shame.

We would stay here again !

Breakfast was very good. The front desk personnel were very helpful. The head housekeeper was wonderful and solved a major problem by being innovative. All of the staff was most accommodating of our special needs. We really enjoyed sitting outside at night by the fire pit as we listened to the Fish Creek roar! Also the whirlpool was large . There was also a lift chair which was a god send as it allowed my son who is in a wheel chair to access the whirlpool.

The queen size sofa sleeper was horrific. The foam mattress was thin and the springs had no support and sank in the middle. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and not worthy of a Marriott Hotel. All of the spring mechanisms should be replaced and upgraded. All of the mattresses should be replaced and upgraded. I would contact manufacturer since these sofas are only 2 years old! I cannot imagine an adult sleeping on this especially after skiing or hiking ! Housekeeping moved us into a different unit but the problem was the same which they solved by removing the foam mattress and replacing it with a regular innerspring queen mattress. This did not allow for the sofa bed to be folded up but it was a very good TEMPORARY solution.

Well-run hotel in a beautiful town.

The location of this hotel is wonderful. There are beautiful hikes in the mountains nearby, and the center of town is not too far away. Breakfast was included in the price, and it was well-tended and very decent, including both hot and cold options, and fruit. It was run in a very professional manner. The room was large and comfortable, and it was very clean when we arrived. It included a kitchenette, and there were supplies available to do some in-room cooking.

The $10 parking fee seemed excessive, when we had already paid a fair amount for the room. Also, it would be great if the hotel had bicycles for rent on the premises.
