The Swiss�tel Al Murooj Dubai has a great location near the mall and offers friendly and helpful staff. However, there have been some issues with entertainment, curtains, the mini bar, and cleanlines (Read More)s. Some guests were impressed with specific staff members who provided excellent service. The hotel is a bit outdated but still enjoyable. The housekeeping staff received praise for their work. Overall, the hotel receives mixed reviews and is rated 2.5 out of 5.

Family experience

The location was great. We booked 2 bedroom apartment and from our apartment was a great view of Burj khalifa, it was on the 8 th floor.

We didn't like gala dinner we took on 31st December. The food was good but rhe entertainment.....needs to be improved. We were told there would be 3 different music bands, but there was a girl only singing. Everyone was bored. We took a package with house beverages, but whatever I asked from alcohol to drink, they said they haven't))) no cocktail, no martini, no champagne, only whisky.

It was only the location we liked

Right from the start, the entire experience was a disaster. The direction as per booking.com took us to swissotel main reception wherein we were told that the check in for apartment happens elsewhere. Check in took almost one hour and then there was a delay of another 45 minutes to get the key. There was no mention of sorry to any of the customers who were waiting in long queues. One customer was told to cancel the booking if they found it unpleasant. After all this delay we were given a room which smelled of cigarette. Another wait for an alternate room after multiple follow-ups for hour and a half. Finally we got a decent room at around 6:30 whereas the check in was to happen at 3 pm. The entire manning in the hotel on New Years Eve was pathetic. On new year day we had breakfast in the outdoor area along with pigeons who were having a feast along with the guests. The experience was not pleasant at all.

Overall, excellent. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to-from Dubai Mall. Huge garden

Room- Was very spacious for a family of four. Had a balcony overlooking the pool / garden area. Staff- House cleaning team Chandan & Salim were very nice and really helpful. Always greeted us with a smile. They were superstars! Desk officer (Filipino) was so heartwarmingly friendly and he was super helpful! Gave us all the useful tips upon check in :) Location- Around 10 minute walk to and from Dubai Mall. Easy to get a taxi (on stand by or via Careem app).

Guest Services- When we called one evening, the lady who answered the phone was grumpy/unfriendly. Room- Some areas could be improved: some bathroom tiles had cracks and mould; refrigerator was noisy; faucet in kitchen sink was moving Safe- Our safe had issues. Two men came to our room. While inside our room, One of them worked on the safe & the other man was busy watching a football game on his mobile phone.

Staff were very helpful

Facilities needs maintenance/upgrade. Especially outside, most of the tiles are broken, no water feature was working. Not what I was expecting of a 5 star hotel. Would also recommend adding USB charging ports in the room

Great location, basic rooms and school cafeteria like experience in the resturant.

Located about 5 minutes from the Dubai mall which is very convenient. Overall the staff are friendly and special mention goes out to Widya in the Restaurant.

Check in experience was upsetting, took over 30 minutes. Also the dinning and breakfast reminded me of a school cafeteria, messy and almost impossible to get any service.
