Very good

Great location and easy to find. Kitchen has every utensils and amenities you might need there. Bathroom very clean with shampoo and duschgel. Note that it is a noisy area because of shops and bars.

I booked the non-smoking room, but it was obvious that they let us into the smoking room, the ventilation didn't help and it was annoying.

Perfect down-town location for a stay of 2-3 nights in Barcelona

The greatest asset of the accomodation is the location. If you like to be in the city center, with many sights, shops and restaurants being in walking distance, this is THE PLACE to stay. Of course the metro is just around the corner. 2 shared bathrooms for 4 appartments is more than you can ask for.

It is a little loud (which is the result of the above) since the accomoation is at a crossing of two big streets.

Great location and really nice showers.

Its not until you arrive at this property that you realise you are sharing an apartment with four other bedrooms and sharing facilities as well; lots of stairs and an elevator that wasnt working!

Comfortable but inconvenient

The location and the set up of the apartment was good. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was easily shared with all the rooms. The unit was always clean and it felt like we were the only people in the apartment most of the time.

The noise from the window shutters smashing against the windows when it was windy was unbearable. It woke us up multiple times throughout the night (and we are heavy sleepers!). Also, the process for checking in is needlessly complicated and I felt like an inconvenience to the owners. The cost for late (8-10pm) check-in is exorbitant and the need to get that + the city tax in cash after travelling for many hours is annoying. They provided some info upon arrival, but we were so exhausted it didnt really sink in. Nothing is provided in writing and we never saw the owners again after they collected the cash for the taxes and late arrival on the first night. We didnt even know which floor the apartment was on and accidentally tried to get into the wrong one the first time we came back. I would only recommend this place to people travelling within the EU, but if youre coming from far away (like Canada) I would not recommend it.

Superb

Perfect location, great value for the money

Perfectly located, really central and within walking distance to all attractions in Barcelona. Comfortable beds, even if the room was quite simple and sober. Great shops and restaurants close by (the pasta restaurant downstairs is a must). We did not use the kitchen at all, but it looked well equiped.

Toilets and showers were cleaned once a day, mostly in the evening, but they were not really clean all the time. Even if it was separate to all the others, our room was quite loud, because of the showers next door and upstairs (also until late in the night) and the workers ourside.

It was a great location, close to Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla. The guest house was well equipped and the room was small but comfy.

We stayed there for 6 days and unfortunately our room was not cleaned during this time.

Definite stay again due to location and price

The location - 2 min walk from Placa de Catalunya and easy to find. Las Ramblas and Gothic area in walking distance. Lots of food choices in the neighbourhood. We had a quiet room . The room and facilities were very clean. The shared bathrooms were cleaned daily and the kitchen was handy . The wi fi was good. Beds were very comfortable.

More towels would have been nicer. The shared bathrooms only had one floor mat and hand towel to share between 4 rooms.
