It was very clean and staff was kind and friendly.

Costwe booked in plenty of time but the weekend we were in NYC was particularly busy and the room available was over priced for the size of the room.

Exceptional staff, great midtown location, comfy beds and teeny tiny rooms!

Staff were so friendly and helpful with every request.

Outside of hotel was a bit dirty (I think the warehouse next door where the hot dog carts are stored at night added to the trash seen around the hotel). The rooms were so tiny!

Had a great stay for NYE!

The lobby is so pretty, its bright and clean. Check in and check out was digital and flawless. They contact you before arrival and let you know you can text and contact them anytime. We were greeted by a friendly employee and getting our room keys was a breeze due to checking in before arriving. The room and bathroom was very clean!

Honestly everything about the hotel was great, we stayed 2 nights and had no issues.

A favorite place to stay.

The location. So close, by walking, to many things. Love the bed set up. The staff is always helpful and nice.

That there is not a refrigerator in the room. The ones they do offer are only big enough for medication. The increase in daily fee, and there are no amenities. Being able to head the street noise if you are on one side of the property, on the lower floors.

Staypineapple is located a short walking distance from Penn Station. I arrived Christmas Day around 10am and was able to check into my room, as it was ready, thanks to Freddy. The room was standard in terms of bedding, private bathroom, the amenities (TV, toiletries), with a large window facing out towards W 36th St. What I loved about the hotel were the extras they provided from their welcome drink/snack (they provide you with a coaster that was exchangeable for any drink/snack in their lobby fridge), water bottles upon request, to the pineapple shaped sugar cookies and coffee and pineapple infused water available in the lobby. I had no issues with check-out upon my leaving the hotel.

The room I stayed in was very compact with narrow walkways that went around the bed and though you quickly adapt to maneuvering around, the side of the room with the window was at a slant and so it was quite awkward when moving along that side of the bed (I had to angle the upper half of my body into the room to avoid bumping into the window frames). The window shade in my room was not usable during my stay and so I was unable to close the shade even at night when sleeping (the shade was rolled up and tied using multiple zip ties). There was no closet and besides the two small wall mounts in the doorway walking into the room, there was not much else in terms of hanging space for your clothes.
