Dont except too much.

The environment, the view, the food & service at the restaurant are great.

Staffs at the reception (especially three female staffs) are rude and lack of hospitality.

Good property with excellent staff!

Staff were amazing - everyone went above and beyond to help us. Tuck and her husband were always available to drive us around the island when needed. She always had a smile on her face. The wait staff in the restaurant were also amazing - I wish I could remember the name of our server. He deserved some recognition- top notch! The bungalow itself was gorgeous- very clean and decorated very nice. There was a lot of climbing up Hills to your room but that is to be expected in Koh Tao.

Unfortunately, the bed/pillows were horrible. I would give them a ZERO out of ten. The mattress was hard as a rock - I woke up every night uncomfortable. The pillows were also hard as a rock. The next thing was we only had luke warm water during our entire stay. Quite frustrating after a day of diving to come back and not be able to take a hot shower. Unfortunately, these two things outweighed the good things about this property. I would not stay here again.

Good value for money in a quiet spot but close to everything you need.

Spacious bungalow close to the pool. The hotel is walking distance to the restaurants and shops on Koh Tao and staff was very friendly. You can rent a scooter for bht 250 a day to get you around the island.

The hotel has two nice large but is surrounded by trees which attracts many mosquitos and makes the pool area a little dirty. Some nights the frogs might be a bit noisy for some people. The choir lasted only a couple of hours one night. WiFi was not super reliable but staff was working hard to fix it.

Really enjoyed our stay, although somewhat disappointed in the run down areas of the hotel.

Really liked location of restaurant and bean bags, next to beach, interesting view of sea and boats. Great for a swim. Restaurant area was decoration with the most beautiful fresh orchids - stunning. Breakfast was great and with attentive service. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. As long as you realise you are on a busy bay for boat traffic you wont be expected a sweeping quiet bay! . Its convenient for walking along to Sairee Beach and for boat trips and ferry. Lots of restaurants and bars but very quiet at hotel which we loved. Hard beds but that is some peoples preference. Generously extended checkout time and gave use of facilities. Always ready to help with anything.

Parts of the hotel needs a refurbishment. A few Huts with tarpaulins on roofs, rain came through on balconies although the rain was torrential for 3 hours or more!!. Not enough hanging space or clothes storage. Some sunbed cushions need replacing. Just had a general air of needing work in some areas.

Cute hotel but too pricey

- The cabin is really cute and we had direct views to the sea - The hotel is located far from parties so we had silence when sleeping. - The views from the restaurant are nice - The pool and the beach area are great

- The bed was really uncomfortable. The mattress was really hard. We were offered a topper and it was a bit better but it was very difficult to sleep, you can sense the movements of the person lying next yo you if you're sleeping in a double bed. - The breakfast could have been better. Coffee pancakes and waffles were not really good. - Waiters can be to insistent while having breakfast to take your plate before you even finish. - For the price we paid per night both things could have been better.

Superb

The staff was super nice and friendly and the resort is really nice overall. It's also very close to many bars and restaurants so that one doesn't have to eat in the hotel restaurant every day.

The hotel is kind of in a jungle, which makes is special. But it also means that during the night many "jungle sounds" like frogs are to hear and they are sometimes pretty loud. This is nothing the hotel can or even should change (to keep it real and let the nature be nature). But we thought it's worth mentioning this as very noise sensitive people should maybe look for something else.
