You get what you pay for

Location is great! Walking distance from city center and great places to eat. At our arrival, we were introduced to all the tours available, which was great, but it was pouring rain for the two days we were there.

Breakfast was very poor. They wanted to charge us for checking in 1 and a half hours earlier, which is the first time this has happened in all our trip (we've been traveling for two months) to which I didnt agree so they didn't charge in the end. Hot water only runs for like a minute and then cold, which wasn't great either.

Inexpensive and convenient but definitely not luxury. Helpful staff.

Inexpensive and convenient location. Helpful staff. Breakfast was basic but enjoyable. Staff recommended 2 places to eat and they were both incredible. Staff had thorough knowledge of tours available.

They didnt make up the room each day and there was only one small bin in bathroom that wasnt changed and as cant put toilet paper down toilet it filled up very quickly. No bin in bedroom.

Good hotel, but unethical experience

The air conditioning worked well, the room was quiet, the simple breakfast was nice, and all but one of the staff members were nice. The staff stored our luggage on the day we checked out, which was helpful

Our stay was marred by an incident when we checked in. The staff member who checked us in first claimed that the Booking.com system was down and we would have to cancel our reservation with Booking.com. When I refused, she then said she would only let us into the room that she said was ready, if we paid more, or cancelled Booking.com. I explained that as per my two emails we only wanted to leave our luggage until check-in, which was by then 45 minutes away. She then said that if we cancelled Booking.com, she would upgrade us to a better room. I refused, because this is dishonest to cancel on Booking. The hotel wanted to avoid paying the commission, despite Booking being the conduit that got them the business. This unnecessary hustling led to another issue. The cheapest twin room when I booked was 798,000d, but I chose to pay 1,140,000 dong for the "deluxe family room", which was the best room with two beds available. When we came back after an hour to check in, we were clearly downgraded. The room we were actually given had a small prison-like window, that looked out on a rubbish strewn rooftop, not a courtyard. The extractor fan had been removed from the bathroom, which meant it fogged up. I later saw one of the other rooms with two double beds and it was a lot nicer than ours, which reinforced that we were downgraded from "deluxe" or given the worst room available. I am posting this in the hope she thinks twice before trying this trick on with other guests.

OMG, This hotel is amazing, we are very satisfied with the room and staff, great breakfast. The important thing is that this place is very quiet. We will definitely come back one day soon.

Everything is great, the staff is happy, enthusiastic, welcoming and serving guests. The breakfast is complete and quite delicious. If I have a chance to come back, I will definitely return to this hotel

It was ok.

Its good enough for the value. Although theres room for improvement. The location is good as there are a lot of good places to eat nearby. The staff try their best to make your stay comfortable.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, the town has just experienced severe flooding so everything was a mess and everyone was in clean up mode. They put us on the 4th floor with the elevator not working. There was no water coming up the 4th floor so they moved us to the 2nd floor and that solved the problem. I wasnt sure if it was just because of the flooding but in both the rooms we were in, there were some missing basic amenities like towels and toilet paper that we had to ask for in the couple of days of our stay there.

Very good

Good spot.

Very centrally located to the night life district. Many coffee shops and eateries are close by and within walking distance. We walked to the old Imperial Citadel across the river, but probably easier to catch a cab or grab.
