We loved the views and the weather was amazing.

As a group of 15, we specifically asked about dinner at the restaurant at che k-in, because there are no other eating options and we were only told to be early. We got to the restaurant at 7pm and were told that we needed to have pre-ordered so dinner was not available. We only got the bar menu so dinner was pizza. Really disappointing for what we thought was supposed to be a premium stay and premium experience. We were also disappointed that the rooms telephone to reception didn't work and wifi didn't work. After telling reception several times, we were told at 7, "Look we can't fix it we can just move your room, do you decide what you want to do". Definitely not the experience we expected or the customer service we expected for the price we were paying.

Not value for money if you pay anything above $150 per night. No room service, no cutleries, plates, microwave and even a sink. I was shocked that I did not get a bottle of mineral water when paid $400 plus a night. Average or below average in general cleanliness and property maintenance.

Beautiful spacious rooms Loved the double shower and bath with skylights, it's like showering outside The ladies who serviced our rooms were really lovely and so helpful Beautiful views to the water Very peaceful and quiet location to retreat Central location to bucklands Beach shops and restaurants and marina and not too far from the city and other auckland suburbs

Tried to extend stay one more night but the night guy at reception at 6am wasn't very helpful. Didn't make it easy for us, so we didn't extend our stay. If that process could be made easier I.e. charge the original card for the extra night or allow payment to be made on checkout would have been preferred to make it more convenient to extend stay. Apart from that one incident, on the whole staff and the experience was amazing.

Great golf staff and course

Very slow service at the bar - often no one there and was incredibly slow. Wrong orders. Place seemed very empty yet wouldnt adjust our booking so that we could be side by side in the villas.

The view was beautiful . The room was a good size and they gave us a sofa bed as requested

Unfortunately the bathroom was awful . Again very large but needed a deep clean . Sink around plug permanently stained from not being cleaned properly . Staining around tap . No drain in one sink so could see straight into pipe - so gross. Shower tiles should be white - they have a pink staining from lack of cleaning . Spa bath stained from lack of cleaning . Toilet bowl stained from lack of cleaning . Shower glass was white and pitted . Glass ceiling in bathroom was filthy on the outside , ruining the whole idea of a glass ceiling . Wore my flip flops the whole time I was in the bathroom Didnt complain when I was there as we didnt spend a lot of time in our room - thank goodness . But will never stay again . Such a shame as the views were lovely .

When we entered our villa the toilet was disgusting and not clean, mold in bathrooms, air con barely worked and wifi was down majority of the time, no reception and too far away from Auckland city & the closet shops , its sad that the staff doesnt come to your service when its raining to pick you up from Villa to take you to reception, food wasnt the greatest, no pool, no gym, nothing for the kids.
