Cheap and cheerful

I really appreciated that staff kept the grill going for us when we arrived 2 mins before it was due to shut down. Also, kids loved the breakfast! Also, free parking is a bonus, it's very rare in the US these days.

Rooms are really outdated and are in massive need of refurbishment.

Nice Hotel in SLO

Comfortable beds, large room, breakfast better than average

Did not have baggage trolley available, no roll-in shower in disabled room on top flat where we were at. Did have shower chair.

Breakfast was great - good options for eggs with diversified options to choose from. Also included pancakes, fruits, cereal, bagels, etc. Not a fancy breakfast but there were options for everyone!

Beautiful older style hotel with guests looked after by warm and friendly staff.

The whole ambience of the hotel, the staff and the quiet room I received was fantastic. Wished I could have stayed longer!

Perfect for a family weekend

We loved how spacious the room was and that we could have a living room after the kids went to sleep. The pool and hot tubs were great. Everything was clean. Breakfast was very generous and high quality. The happy hour with complimentary drinks and the BBQ make it super convenient to just grab something quick for the kids and also have a drink for yourself. This is our second time staying and we'll be back when we are in the area!

Communication prior to arrival could be improved, but other than that all was great

Nice grand hotel with a vintage vibe

We really enjoyed our stay here. We needed am accessible room for my wifes wheelchair, and the room was quite spacious. The manager's beer and wine welcoming party was a really nice addition to our stay. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is being renovated, so some of the hallways needed to be swept, but it was only a minor issue
