Overall, guests had positive experiences at the La Quinta by Wyndham San Luis Obispo. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, although some noted thin walls that allowed for noise from neighboring ro (Read More)oms. The continental breakfast had a decent selection, although mostly prepackaged items. The location was convenient, with nearby restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. Guests also appreciated unique features like room key-operated elevators and a spa tub with a view.

Fantastic stay at La Quinta In.
We were on the second floor right next to the gym and breakfast room. You would have thought that would have been annoying but we couldnt hear anything in our room! Parking was a breeze and having the hotel be a little smaller made it easy to navigate. Breakfast waffles and pancakes were excellent!
The breakfast bacon was very thin and too crispy. The potatoes were thick and not crispy enough. This is just in comparison to Embassy Suites SLO breakfast (which my kids compare every hotel breakfast to). But really, that was our only complaint.

I called before I booked to see if the pool was heated . The women told me it was over 90. The pool is tiny and was definitely not heated at all.

Fabulous in every way
Large room with plenty of lighting. It has a microwave and refrigerator. Laundry rooms are also available. The front-desk staff are wonderful, especially Herman, Anthony, and Trayvon. Free parking, too.
