They gave us $100 off the final bill which was nearly $3800 for 4 nights! I will be writing to the manager!

The only thing was the location!

It would take too long to write it all down. 1./. We had 2 two bedroom apartments for us and our kids and grandkids. 2/ When we arrived our rooms werent ready! We returned at 4pm to be told there had been a flood in our room and needed to dry out. It was clear that it would take hours or even days to fully dry out so Eventually we changed rooms! The staff were very good and it wasnt their fault. 3/. Our grandson had a terrible allergy from the room with puffy eyes and sneezing! All the rooms really need to be deeply cleaned, they were filthy. Even the glass doors as you enter the building were dirty giving a very poor initial impression. 4/Our bathroom had a spa bath with a shower with no shower screen. We had to use 2 towels on the floor every time we showered. Im 73 and was terrified of slipping. 5/ Very disappointed as booked it on behalf of our family (some of who travelled from Scotland) but you only get what you pay for!

Reasonable for the price.

Good location, easy to find off the Main Street. There is overnight car parking in Russell street which was easy enough. The room was spacious, plenty of room for luggage.

The wifi didnt work. One of the outlets next to the bed didnt work. The only other outlet near the bed was on the desk. The lights were not working properly (eg; had to turn on the kitchen light for the bathroom light to turn on). The TV remote only had the volume and channel buttons working (no tv guide). For the ladies - there was no where to do makeup/hair apart from sitting on the bed.

Nothing about the property

First of all, the location is very dingy with no proper signage about the hotel, no on site parking available therefore it was hassel to park at Wilsons and drag all baggage. Very untidy rooms, seems like no been cleaned properly for so long, the photos are very old as the sofas upholstery was extermely dirty. The bed sheets had stains on them, may not be washed properly. The beds are uncomfortable and the toilets need lot of repairs. At midnight room air conditioner started throughing water out which was unconvince and no body was available on reception to help! Overall not at all worth for money charged.

Location is great in Chinatown, although its next to little lanes and every morning at 5am we had reversing beepers in our ears just outside our room (we were level 1, so it sounded like the truck was practically next to us). Then bins and linen going out made a heap of noise from 6.30am onwards. I dont complain and didnt to staff but this was annoying as Ive ever had in a room.

Obviously the noise. I wouldnt say the rooms were clean and certainly didnt have a fresh smell to them. We left our door open to try to remove musty smell. Also a room didnt have tv remote, so couldnt turn tv on. This was fixed a few hours later (we werent in room anyway) but frustrating if we didnt realise. We stayed same hotel different rooms 2 years earlier and quite liked it, so maybe just got bad rooms or its going downhill.

Street parking is NOW there is a NO STANDING sign, so how do we underload luagge without the stress of getting a fine. Reminder to finish wash-down and dry bathroom with towels and bathroom mat.

Exceptional

It was such an enjoyable stay and definitely will recommend it...

I liked my whole stay in here.. my 2yrs old toddler love it even more, spacious for him to move around. Loved the room getting serviced everyday. Easy access to tram, bus, food and main attractions at city. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Staff notified us as soon as the room is ready for early check in.
