A good stay near the Airport

Location is good....so close to the Airport.....and so was the breakfast

Rooms are rather small for the price charged...but the view from the room is good...also the room has a sit out

Mark & the staff were very kind & helpful. The room was very clean & the balcony nice & breezy. It was easy to get a tuk tuk from the bus station & easy to get to the airport. The property is one street from the beach for sunsets & a level walk to the town.

WiFi wasn't available in our room, only the downstairs area. This wasn't a problem as we only stayed one night.

This is a great value for money place to stay ...It's spotlessly clean ,and there is no noise.

The property is set back from the road ,so you do not hear the road traffic..It is easy to get to the airport from here.You can sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down

The owner, Mark and his staff were so friendly and full of advice. They picked us up at the airport and also dropped us

We found this to be a traditional Sri Lankan guest house. No frills but perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay.

Bed was confortable.

When I arrived there were no sheets on the bed, the staff person just threw them on the bed after showing me the room so I had to make my bed myself. I didn't find this very welcoming. The room was gloomy, didn't look very clean overall and was full of mosquitos. The rooms on booking website looked much better (my guess is the staff only puts pictures of the nicest rooms). Besides the room was only a few meters from the road and quite noisy. The WiFi was terrible. After struggling for 2 hours and complaining several time the staff eventually added data and it got better. But still no WiFi in the room though. Bad value for the price.
