Exceptional

All very clean, friendly staff, good facilities. Would stay there again with pleasure.

Satellite TV would be good with more choices apart from French channels. Lack of vegetarian meal choices ( common problem in France). Staff is very willing to remove meat from existing meals, which, although thoughtful, is not really the point!

The beds were very comfortable and the room had air conditioning. The hotel also had a pool and sauna. They also had a room to store luggage while you wait for the check in time.

There was a strange smell in the room and was noticeable when entering the room. Unsure how to describe it. there was carpet in the room so possibly from this or could be the smell of the cleaning products. Strange layout of the room with the shower and sink in one room and the toilet in another separate room. I think the hotel could do with updating especially the bedrooms. The reception area looks nice but then not reflected in other areas of the hotel. The pool furniture and outside furniture looked dirty and possibly mouldy.

The staff at check-in was very friendly.

The reservation cost a small fortune compared to the miniscule room we did receive. The shower and toilet were so narrow, my shoulders almost touched both sides. The space around the bed and sofabed were also extremely narrow. The swimming pool was only opened until 2000, and the location was way outside of any spots you'd like to visit. It turned out that the superior room is their absolute entry level room, and of course, an upgrade was not possible as all was booked. I tried to voice my unhappiness, but the staff showed no solutions whatsoever. I will certainly not return. Oh, and in order to get a massage, that seemed just impossible with their Spa. Tully booked a week in advance, with it only being opened in the morning, no wonder.
