Very badly organised

The hotel is 5 minutes from the centre and it is not though our experience was negative. We arrived early afternoon and left the car in their private garage, we had a long journey ahead the following morning but when we went to collect the car another vehicle was parked right in front of us and we could not drive away. The hotel staff could not locate the hotel guest who left the car parked in front of us neither they had their telephone number. After over an hour of us waiting ,the owner of the car turned up and very apologetically he explained they arrived late at night and they were told by the hotel to park right in front of us!!. The hotel refused to keep the guy car keys, they only asked for his phone number. The morning hotel staff was although not able to find the phone number and contact the client to ask for the car to be moved so that we could drive away. If you offer a parking service that btw costs 18 euros you have to provide a parking service that works and not allow clients to double park without asking for the car keys! Shame on your disorganised night staff and to the morning one too who cannot even apologise for what was clearly due to bad hotel organisation!

Very good

Good, comfortable and quiet stay in Parma.

Location is perfect, right outside the train station and about 15min walk from the city centre. The room was very comfortable.

Room was good but not enough natural light. Pool was closed for winter and sauna is electric so it doesnt heat up properly and you have to wait at least 30min to start sweating if it was switched off initially. Gym is rather small.

Superb

Efficient and comfortable hotel

Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Sofa bed - not so much but that was to be expected, grateful it was prepared and ready when we checked in. Water pressure and heat were awesome.

Car park spots were tiny.

Good

Very accessible to trains. and the city. Standard corporate hotel quality, as can be expected from a novotel.

As others noted, there are definitely (feeling-of-)safety issues in parts of the train station and on the road between there and the hotel, even as a young(ish) guy. But there is an easy detour.
