The Minster Hub is praised for its ideal location, just a short walk from the Minster and the Shambles. Guests found the room basic, clean, and comfortable, but noted that it could get quite warm in (Read More)the rooftop rooms without proper ventilation. Some also mentioned a small shower and a constantly running heater in their room. Parking is not available on-site, but there is a car park nearby. Overall, guests appreciated the friendly staff and spacious rooms.

Heating was up full blast didnt know how to turn off, very minor thing. Worked it out on 2nd day

Unbeatable position & value for money. The room itself was basic but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Met the owner, Karen, upon check-in and she was kind enough to let me leave the bags at the property for a few hours after check-out (no extra charge). Had a great couple of nights sleep - comfy bed and quiet room at the back of the property. Would definitely recommend & stay again.

I only missed a shelf in the shower.

Room was clean and well furnished. Everything you need!

Absolutely brilliant. Everything you need for a couple nights stay to visit all York has to offer. Stones throw away from the Christmas markets, pubs, bars and cafes. Beautiful views and historic sites to visit all within walking distance. 10 min walk from the train station too. Delighted with our host too, Karen explained entry to the property and was a text away if needed. 100% stay again. Thank you :)

Basic but good value.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee were available in the room when we arrived and then always refillable any time of day from downstairs. The bed was very comfy and the shower was very nice.

The only very small thing was how noisy the toilet was. You couldn't flush at night without waking the whole house! Apart from that everything was fine.

Disappointing

The room was basic

The location.

We hadnt realised the room was on the fourth floor . That was a huge problem as Im disabled. The tv kept buffering , so much so we couldnt watch it.The street view was spoilt by scaffold right outside the window .

Lovely little gem

Perfectly located, room was spacious and well appointed. Was a little tired in some areas but not enough to spoil anything about the visit. It is in perfect walking distance to everything youd wish to see in York. The host was prompt with communication and very kind, a lovely stay!

Very cozy and amazing location.

We really enjoyed our stay! A card and chocolates was left in the room on arrival as my partner told the staff that we were staying in York for my birthday. We loved the room, was nice to cozy up in at night in the midst of the winter weather. A perfect location as it was very close to the centre of town, we didnt use Uber once and enjoyed our strolls to the Christmas markets. We will definitely be back, we loved our weekend away!

The cold water tap didnt work in the bathroom, it was stiff and definitely needs looking at.
