Nice but big room for improvements

Its location is good and has easy access to the beach and nightlife. The pool is great and in the rooms there are fans.

On Arrival it was very unclear who was staff, grounds men. There was no introduction or explanation of how the bar and breakfast works. Later being told you need to order a day in advance for breakfast. The pool beds have towels laid on them - I sat and watched people uses these towels to fully dry themselves with they left them piled on the floor as they were now wet and dirty. A staff member saw this and still decided to put the towels back out for the bed for a new person to go and lie on top of.

WiFi reception was terrible especially in my room. Beach boys on the nearest beach were very annoying and persistent. Staff attempted to be helpful but there was a passive-aggressive undercurrent. Room was unbearably hot at night because there's no air conditioning. There was construction going on right next to the pool which made it uncomfortable to swim. Breakfast was not included in my room rate. Based on my total experience, I don't feel that I received value for money. I did not enjoy my stay unfortunately.

The staff was super friendly, especially the manager. He even came on his day off to show us around. The room was quite spacious with a large balcony and nice sofas outside. Also, the location is great! Even though the way to the beach is littered and rather stinky, once you get to the beach (and it's literally 2 minutes of walk), it's really nice. And there are some really good restaurants on the beach! We felt safe in the neighborhood, even when getting back to the hotel after sunset.

We had a weird situation with ordering breakfast. We were told it would cost 900 KSH and then, when we wanted to pay, it turned out that it was actually 6 EUR or 1000 KSH (due to different exchange rates). It wouldn't be a problem if we were told that it's 6 EUR from the very beginning. It's still a small sum but communication can be improved. Also, we were promised a welcome coconut that we never got :(

Exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay, it was a pleasure to spend our last days here. The staff attention was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. It also has a very pleasant pool and relaxation areas and kitchen facilities. Very close to the beach, restaurants, bank and supermarket.

nice resort with good location

I liked the decorations and the architecture/design of the place. I really enjoyed the pool. Location was walking distance to the beach, not quite beachfront, and close to the main shopping street. They had some friendly dogs. They allowed a late check-out and for me to use the pool later in the afternoon prior to needing to catch my flight. They welcomed me with a nice coconut.

They advertised beachfront, but it was about a 5 minute walk to the beach. They took a cash only payment,

Superb

Great stay.

Excellent location close to the beach. It was also relatively close to the town. The facilities at the resort were also exceptional. We loved the room. The staff were also very helpful (shout out to Joseph who went above and beyond).

Difficult to get meals within the facility. Hard to get the chef.

Nice stay! good value!

It was nice to have an outdoor kitchen and family room area. Close to beach and stuff (resto, grocery..) Really nice trees surrounding. good pool. very helpful staff. Bui helped organize our transport, which was great!

there was no actual gym, even though it was listed/in photos. the room has just a fan, so it did get a bit hot. the kitchen was not very clean when we arrived.. maybe it was rarely used? it does not have beachfront but it is close to the public beach.
