Pleasant

Pleasant, but not for four

The staff was friendly and the property was very welcoming.

The room was advertised to be enough for a family of four, however, the second teenager was not comfortable. The sofa bed was not up to the expectations.

To summarise - would we keep going back? Yes for sure because Elmers Court holds special memories

We have stayed many times over the years at Elmers Court - we love the location/grounds/pool facilities and its architecture

Undoubtedly the accommodation can be criticised for not being upgraded and some rooms need a total refurbishment (pressure of water /carpets replaced etc) Manor House 23 for example and also too much unnecessary furniture which clutters the apartment

Very good

The staff went above and beyond. They were amazing and made our stay better. The hotel itself was grand, a little pricey

It was lovely, the grounds were pretty and the pool and spa were lovely

The beds, one was a little hard and the other a little soft. There needs to be a happy medium

A stay of two halves, make sure you book into the main hotel

Great location, nice welcome from staff and the hotel had a nice Christmassy feel. Lovely grounds and little playground for small children. Beautiful view over Lymington harbour and the Solent.

We booked an apartment for two nights. Unfortunately it smelt so bad that we asked to move into the main hotel on the second night. It felt like the apartment hadnt been used or aired in months and it needed new carpet and a more thorough clean. The lady on reception was apologetic and found myself and my husband a nice room in the main hotel. The children were able to stay with family who we were visiting locally. The main hotel was nice but the beds were a bit short, not ideal for tall people.

The situation and gardens. And size of room

The charges for extras like clean towels. The breakfast was over priced. The smell of dog or sweaty feet in the room. There was roof tiles coming of some of the roofs

Beautiful building in a great location, lovely staff just needs softer beds!

The staff were very professional, attentive and friendly. Parking was free. There was access to the spa facilities. The building and grounds were beautiful. Christmas decorations were nice. Food was excellent. Venue was clean. Room was cleaned while out visiting family.

The mattress's in the room were so hard that they were extreamly uncomfortable, causing a bad night's sleep and aches and pains the following day. The dimmer switch in the room didn't work. Some of the milk was off. The drinks in the bar are over priced, these are soft drinks as one small coke was 4.30 which seems excessive. Finally I strongly advise putting warning hit water signs in the bathrooms as the water can come out scalding hot and without that warning if a guest were to suffer any thermal injuries you could be held liable for negligence.
