Excellent value and conveniently located seafront hotel.

9 years since our last stay and it was a similar wild, wet night, but it was an also similar warm welcome to greet us. The rooms have changed a lot in those years having shrunk in size due to remodelling, presumably to add more but they are impeccably clean and maintained and feature quality bedding. Our room had a bay window containing a table and 2 chairs to enjoy the view of the storm ravaged beach and bright lights of the Palace pier. Our daughter had a smaller room, no bay window but the same sea view. The cabaret ongoing in the bar area on our return was enjoyable whilst enjoying a nightcap. Photo of view attached.

stayed here couple of times B4 Christmas time.Experience this time did not meet expectations of B4

Location was good, having a lift was good. Booking in was good. Cabaret was good. Friendly atmosphere in bar. Ironing board in room good.

Breakfast, long wait. Didnt like sausage. Only had once. No heating or spare blanket in room. Noise from life next to my room. General noise of other guest going to and fro their rooms. Nearby doors shutting.

Pre Christmas - Winter Solstice Break

Great room, well appointed, clean and spacious. Enormous (triple) bed too. Double bay windows with excellent views of the Pier, Marine Parade and Kemptown Beach. A shower and a separate bath. Nice breakfast. Excellent staff too. Always cheerful and very helpful. Thank you :-)

Well, we knew the Legends has a late bar with entertainment and a basement night club, so was not surprised to be woken bar the revelling early in the morning. If you want peace and quite the Legends may not be for you. We enjoyed it and will return :-)
