Good option but very expensive. I would stay in town if the beach isn't your primary objective.

Lovely beach location. There were always loungers available and it was super easy access. Staff was also helpful throughout the whole property - whether it was room service, front desk or the restaurant.

Considering how much you are paying - the property looks quite tired. There were cobwebs in the gym and the rooms have almost no natural light and are cramped due to the large bed. Food at restaurant was also a bit average so if you're spending several days there - you will get bored.

The bungalows were lovely. The staff was very polite and professional.

We like the location and the amenities to the beach.

The breakfast was excellent cut the hotel can offer rotation on the hot items. Always the same.

I am always reading reviews before travelling. Was a bit worried after seeing some of them. My advice is, if you want to enjoy the time in full, dont choose the cheapest bungalow. Take one with jacuzzi. It feels more private, better planning of room. The location, staff, food is perfect! We enjoyed our holidays in full! Children were crying the day we left. Thank you!

High expectations not met.

Location,staff and breakfast was good

Of the 3 nights we stayed there, there was a wedding reception right outside our room on 2 of them, we should have been told about this when booking. The noise was so loud that we couldn't relax or read books. We were hoping this would have been one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily instead we felt la Plage prioritised the wedding guests over their paying quests.

Excellent stay after initial stumble.

Great location right on the beach (rocky) and across from Isola Bella. Room (2nd) was clean and comfortable. Hilly walk up to main road but then close to tram going directly downtown.

First room they gave us was next to the staff facilities (laundry, kitchen, etc.) so if sitting on balcony can see & hear all their goings-on. Complained & they gave us a different room the next morning.

WOW WOW WOW! Perfection!

This is an outstanding hotel. From the moment we entered it was perfection. You come through a small tunnel and the front desk staff is waiting to greet you personally. You are offered a drink and the check in was a breeze. We stayed in room 206 which was a bungalow. It was perfectly clean and so comfortable. The room is gorgeous. The room staff came several times per day and there were always clean towels. At this resort you are guaranteed a lounge bed with a thick pillow no matter what time you arrive to the beach. The beach is pebble and they even have shoes for you. The beach lifeguard/staff were amazing. The beach bar is right there. There are quick lunch items that they will bring to your lounge chair or you can go to the lunch tables overlooking the sea. The mussels were outstanding and the Cesar salad with chicken amazing. The beach is directly next to Isola Bella. Could not be a better location. Breakfast is fantastic with so many choices and outstanding service. We also dined at Fusion for dinner with was beyond amazing. The serve and food was perfection. If you want the beach location, its just short drive up the hill by taxi or a quick walk to the lift. This hotel is a must stay! Plenty of parking and just amazing 5 star service. You cannot go wrong here. BRAVO to the staff at La Plage!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Plage. We travelled with our 8 month old baby and the team were amazing looking after u

It was beachfront and the staff were incredible. In particular, Alessia, Vincenzo and Roberta. They were all so warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. The restarting was lovely.

The room was very small which was challenging as we had a baby and a cot and a lot of luggage. The bed was also very hard but the team arranged a topper for us. It would have been great to have a pool too
