Comfortable property in very isolated location.

The location was quite central to our plans to visit historic sights in Cantebury, Deal and Rochester, plus examine seaside areas such as Whitstable and Margate. Well equipped inside. Some essential food items in a welcome basket we did not expect but were appreciated.

The property was not as we imagined. The photos suggest a large imposing property with accommodation in part of it and the reviews were outstanding but we feel a little too appreciative which no doubt represent staying in other parts of the property. Although comfortable the first impressions of going up narrow stairs on a terrace style large outbuilding was not as we expected. Small details such as no shelf in the shower so you had to put bottles and soap on the floor which was a little inconvenient. We did not see anyone during the whole stay. Not a criticism just a fact to note that shops or places to eat are a good 10 to 15 minute drive away. A car is essential unless you are there to walk.

Lovely quiet location, comfortable bed, great shower

Needed a bit of TLC, only basic cooking equipment available, Wi-Fi was very hit and miss, when working was slow but ok, unfortunately were times when it didnt work at all.

Lovely flat

Lovely little flat, really well equipped with a comfy sofa and bed, loved the welcome hamper and the beautiful location

It came as a bit of a shock to find the flat was over a stable yard. The bedroom is literally above a stable which had a horse in. We have horses so understand how it can be, but they started yard work very early ie 0630 right outside our window, and one night a horse became quite distressed and whinnied all night causing a disturbed nights sleep, It is a shame as the view over the yard should have been idyllic.

Wonderful and plan to return

Excellent location in countryside but easy access to Canterbury and coast. Delightful flatlet - may be bit cosy for 2 people but perfect for 1. Horses an added bonus.

Bed large and comfy but one side against wall - didnt bother me but maybe a problem for a couple.
