Very good

best for chilling at the pool/beach all day

-Polite and friendly staff especially in the dining area -Great location, pool and beach access -Mid December: absolutely no mosquitos. -Super tasty fruit! -Chef that does the omelettes super polite and nice. -Server Victor is the nicest man!

-There was not a good food variety at the breakfast. -The last day unfortunately my husband had food poisoning. -I believe Mosquito nets should be installed in at least 1 window in each room. There were no mosquitos in the resort in December but we had to keep windows closed just in case. -Bedding needs an upgrade: Bed mattresses its not great quality. Blanket Throw had a hole in it so bedding material needs to be updated as well. -The photos of the rooms on Booking show a better version than reality. It was not bad but it wasnt as luxurious as it looks in the photos at booking.

Super clean, well maintained property with the friendliest staff. The location is away from all the busy parts of Paje and Jambiani with a quieter part of the beach right in front of the hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations compared to what we expected from the pictures online

A set of curtains that let the sunshine in but still provide some privacy would be nice. We loved the local food and would have loved more local dishes to be part of the dinner menu.

Not a great value they miss the mark on a lot of things. Poor value

Nice beaches and large villas and the staff and bar and restaurant are great. Front desk and management need some work.

The villas are poorly furnished tiny little arm chairs and small wooden love seat in the living area pretty sure they are patio furniture: very uncomfortable its a shame because the rooms are huge. The food isnt great either it was more disappointing than the furnishings. Bland and grossly overpriced food and drinks.

Fantastic Family Fun stay

The location was ideal, staff are friendly ,caring they really made my family feel comfortable especially my 2 year old neice who made friends with all the staff , who took the time to speak with her dance and play. The team paid attention to even small details to make our stay memorable, I really enjoyed my birthday at Kisiwa on the beach. The resort was clean and safe. Halfan was the customer service rep who was assigned to support my family his service was 1st class. Julius and the he team were extremely welcoming and keen to share Swahili/ Zanzibari culture as well as embrace the culture of all guests . As a Tanzanian citizen who visited with my family, I strongly disagree with the previous comment from another guest suggesting prejudice towards Tanzanian guests . From experience and observation my family, along with all other guests, were treated with equal common courtesy, dignity, and respect without any prejudice. The stay was very happy and enjoyable, and we will definitely come back next year.

Absolutely spotless property with amazingly spacious villas with all amenities the sophisticated well travelled person needs. To be honest I was pretty impressed with the high standard considering the attractive price point. The food was delicious. We had half board so we were well taken care of. The staff was friendly and went the extra mile for us. We highly recommend this lovely property. Thank you

The newly renovated restaurant looks stunning and is completely open which is amazing especially for breakfast. Be aware in the evening it can get a bit windy - so for all those who are sensitive wear a light cardigan but this is just because my wife mentioned it. Nothing to complain about. Our stay was TOP

Magical and relaxing !

The most superb staff who were attentive, personable and knew everyone really well! They were also fantastic with allergies - I am celiac which can very very stressful whist travelling. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was eating food that was completely gluten free. This made everything a lot more relaxing.

The drinks are very expensive compared to other places just down the beach. That said - they did have good wine which is rare to find in Tanzania!

Hotel beautiful and

The hotel is a best choice . Location great. The beach is beautiful but note some Mornings the qater is not clean but later gets beautiful when sea level increase. Rooms And beds and linen more than great all acomodations as 5 stats hotel in relax mode. Staff very kind.

ONLY disagree because in the hotel is prohibed invites a Tanzanian black people as my guest all the security staff treats their own people as dogs . I felt a big discrimation in policy of the hotel, I felt in those moments living in slavery epoque. I hope They change mind and traet all black and white people same. I claimed for this issue with manager but he refuse to allow get in to The hotel My Tazanin Guest to shere a Coca cola With us.
