Overall, I did enjoy my stay especially during the day. Experiencing such place is a thrill.

The environment around the property. Very Peace, stress free and Zen one should spend at least a day in such place once or twice a year. In fact this place is far away from crowd, pollution. This is a best place to stay and cook your own food, as the property has LPG/Induction stove along with necessary utensils. This is awesome experience we had, though I'm not used to such places but great experience in my lifetime.

If you want to stay in this property, better to stay in groups. Not a best place for couple or a lonely person. This place is situated in isolated neighborhood with no access to nearby restaurants nor groceries store. It's better to travel in own vehicle. There is no power backup, one should carry emergency lamp as We cannot expect when the power outages during night. For the people who are used to city life they may not like it during evening and night hours.

Good Host, Calming vibe

It's a normal vilage home, that takes you to the old memories at your own village. Facilities are bare-bone and enough for being comfy, and having a kitchen is helpful. Do not expect all your luxuries to be present, come here if you want self-empowered peace. Do not expect total cleanliness, as monsoons in Kerala mess up all types of houses.. Owner was friendly, and helps to travel around the place.

Little bits can be improved, like holders for soap in bathroom, or racks and trays around ...just like a normal home, it would feel more easier to live then.

Humbling Authenti Tharavadu stay | A truly hidden gem that would give your Kerala Trip its essence!

A property located in a quaint neighbourhood (very close to the highway yet so secluded and tucked). This will take you to your Granny's old village home in secs upon arrival. It is almost 5degs cooler inside vs outside vast compound (which initself is 2degs cooler than the general area out there). Equipped with a sufficient kitchen that provides your cooking needs. Lazing around in the evening outside the porch is a detoxing experience in itself. Its very close to the major attractions which we explored in our 2 day stay - Bekal fort (there was international beach festival as well), Chandragiri fort, Anandashram, Beaches (i counted atleast 5 pristine beaches around - chitharai being 2kms away)

Pick this place if you looking for break from City to most basic life!!

The best part is rustic old Heritage style living actually without the frills of namesake with all modern amenities. If you are looking to stay in Woods with no particular ask for ameneties, this is your destination to be. Simple and minimalistic living, fresh air and pin drop silence. Good mobile network though for call or if you looking to work from there. No major amenities or hustle of City lives. Host Mr. Ratheesh is awesome person. He guides you very well on places to visit and at the same time doesn't interfere in your peaceful stay. Keep it up!!

Bathroom can use little plumbing fixture as basic necessity. Mosquito repellent was provided however net would be great to have on bed.
