Awesome Christmas of 2023

Our check-in was quick and everyone was nice and very helpful. Parking was easily accessible. Our room was cleaned every day. Marriott made our stay memorable. We came for the KC Chiefs game 12/25/23 Christmas Day. Thank you for a great staycation! The Thomasons

tough weekend for property

tough weekend for property. construction and no wayfaring made access difficult (enter thru unmarked garage). didnt post Bonvoy # at check in, requiring adjustment at departure. Had plumbing issue in building affecting many. Older property but rooms updated and fine. Might consider going back. Folks were apologetic and credited substantial part of room charge, as they did for many that weekend. Inquire before booking.

Nice stay all our needs were met

Breakfast was decent I felt like it was a little pricey for what was served. Room was clean and appropriately stocked

I was not aware of construction it was challenging to get into hotel. The street in front of the hotel had divided lanes but they were poorly marked.

The Room

The staff member who checked me in had trouble checking me in I assume he was new so he asked another employee who didn't even ask me about Klarna he just looked at me and said oh this is a pay at property when he knew I could have had a reservation I think the staff member was trying to embarrass me I think the staff member thought I couldn't pay the balance I feel like I was discriminated and although the hotel was clean the room was clean the gentleman was not at all friendly or helpful I was told the staff knows how booking dot com works but African American gentleman was not helpful at all

I did not like the fact that we were waken up before 6 in the morning because of a fire in the elevator. Not only that Marriott was refunding guests their money but since I got my room through a third party. Nothing they could do
