We got to Juana's private room a little later than planned as there was some confusion on my part. But after some communication and hilarity, we got there. Juana and her husband were lovely and very welcoming. We were going to the theatre in the city centre, so our accommodation was ideally located. Our taxi journey to the theatre was between five and ten minutes and was under 8. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a shared bathroom (spotless). We would definitely stay at Juana's private room again and as a bonus, it's dog friendly!

Friendly hosts, good location and good value for money as long as you are ok with a shared bathroom

Very friendly hosts. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Location was good and parking nearby was easy because I only needed it over night. It appeared to be limited to 3hrs during weekday daytimes - I suggest asking the host if this would be an issue for you.

Disappointing

Just ok for young students, not for workers or families

Joana was very kind and friendly when I arrived, and the bathroom and room were clean. however, please read the downsides

The house doesn't give much privacy. My bedroom shared the wall with the owner's bedroom. She is very kind, but as the boyfriend arrived, they started arguing and shouting at each other. Someone was cooking and making noise at around 10pm. Also, as I entered the house, there was a strong smell of cigarette (which I can't stand), and later on, in my room, there was a smell.of weed coming in. Not sure from where. At around 3am someone in the house woke up and I you could hear doors banging, steps on the corridor, noise of all sorts. It's probably alright for a young student to sleep a few nights, but not for families or workers. For this price three is much better places around.

The staff were delightful and the location is excellent. So easy to get into central Manchester. Would happily go again.

Shared bathroom and all doors wedged onto floor so hard to open and close.

Good host and very clean. Close to apollo

It was very close to the apollo theatre. And the own was very friendly and helpfull and property was clean

Didn't realise it was a home share. I personally like my privacy so wouldn't have booked a home share

The heater was off when I stayed but the blanket was comfy enough to tackle the issue

Overall average.

Property was clean and in an ideal location.

Was very cold. The man was lovely at first and told us to make ourselves at home. He told us we were okay to come home whenever as long as we were quite. We got back around 3:30am ish and were whispering, to which he came out of his room and told us off for being too loud and shushed us. Made us feel very awkward. We were then awoken to very loud music being played in the morning. When we left we bumped into the man to which he apologised but then proceeded to say we were too loud and his wife had to be up early for work. Dont know why you would allow people to stay at your property and tell them to come home whenever if there was actually an issue and youre going to make them feel uncomfortable.

Superb

It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. Really like it.

The room is really spacious with big tables. It is very clean too. Bed is quite comfortable. Very close to Royal infirmary Manchester. The host is very nice, friendly and helpful. Make the stay very comfortable.

Toilet door is quite hard to open and close. Couple staying next room can be quite loud at times.
