Amiable. Suited our purposes for our short stay.

Location as once we parked our vehicle, we walked around Wellington with ease!

No Mini Bar or Snack available to purchase in room. Food & Wine Selection in Restuarant was average.

Desk staff excellent in helping overcome confusion over cot versus bed for toddler. They fixed the problem by providing another room, which was much appreciated

Disappointing

Room was fine . Very disapointing.

Checking in.it was very busy & one person on reception when we checked in for 2 rooms. Overall an unfriendly welcome. After checkout next day noticed we left an article of clothing in wardrobe. Very difficult to get through to reception by ph. Cut off numerous times. I phoned 3 times during the day .Each time I was told they would check and call me back. I recieved no ph call. We have stayed at Ibis Wellington numerous times in the past& had excellent stays.

Unfortunately I wouldnt stay again.

Great location if want to be central CBD. Provides secure car parking when booked in advance of stay, great when travelling with bikes etc. Hot shower and good pressure.

The room and bathroom were very dated and the seal on the shower door came away when opened. The acoustic level between rooms was poor. Listened to a toddler tantrum from another room during the middle of the night which wasnt expected.

Family stay at IBIS

The rooms were clean and comfy, housekeeping staff were lovely, buffet breakfast was great every morning, we loved it was right in town so wasn't a mission to bus or walk everywhere. Was also a 2 min walk to the new years eve celebration at the waterfront. Shower pressure was amazing.

There was one lady on reception I found quite rude, sorry cant remember her name. I know it wasn't Maddy though, I feel like she was either having a bad day or just didn't like me for some reason or another but unfortunately in hospitality you should be kind and at least crack a smile and be a wee bit more welcoming to people who aren't causing you any grief. Also we stayed in the twin rooms, for the price of them I felt like there should've at least been a microwave not just a jug, was a wee bit annoying that we had to eat out every night with 7 of us but unfortunately twin rooms were the only available on our dates so if we were to ever stay again we would be going to a room with a kitchen.

Great location to most amenities in the heart of Wellington

The location of the hotel to access the many attractions was fantastic. We booked for paid parking at the hotel but did not have to use that as staff were helpful in advising that all on street parking around the city was free for the duration we were in Wellington for, which saved us some money. Christmas day in Wellington saw most shops and restaurants shut so our Christmas dinner was taken at the hotel restaurant, which was enjoyed to our surprise. The meals we ordered were cooked to perfection although there was at least a 40-minute wait. We were treated to Christmas crackers for a little fun which was a lovely surprise. The staff were cheerful and helpful which made the dining experience pleasant, thank you.
