Never ever stay here anymore

Really everything was bad, talk with the manager to speak about it, but they didnt do anything about it.

Dear reader, I have never slept in such a terrible Hyatt before. We are a group of 9 people, and let's start with the check-in, which went completely wrong. A significant amount of money was incorrectly blocked from my card. For such a busy hotel, only one elevator is operational, causing up to 10 minutes of waiting time. Breakfast is handled by one friendly guy who is overwhelmed. There are no tables for large groups, so we find ourselves sitting in a plant bed, unbelievable. It's now around 4:30, and our room hasn't even been cleaned. All of this for over $11,000 for these few days. I will write a review; it's truly sad to stay in such a bad hotel, especially coming from Amsterdam for grandpa's 80th birthday. This is unacceptable; I wonder if you can do anything to address our concerns.

For a few dollars more I couldve stayed at a better hotel on the beach.

The location for South Beach was good.

My room was tiny and directly faces another hotel room across ally so my curtains were always drawn. An elevator was broken and it was hard to get up and down to the rooms. There was an incessant noise of water flow in my room and a loud drip/knock noise every 30 seconds or so that made it hard to sleep.

The breakfast doesnt make sense - there is one server who is working hard but has no chance to take care of the volume of orders. This should be better staffed or just be a buffet. Each day we waited for our breakfast for 45 minutes and the second day we didnt even eat it because we were rushing to the airport. Theres just one elevator working for the whole building- and it doesnt seem like anyone is trying to fix it - it just stayed broken out entirely stay. We had a no disturb sign on our doors and everyday in the morning someone knocked on our door and woke us up.

Budget location.

It is a nice location, between Lincoln Road and Espanola Way and on the block from public beach access. Ocean Drive is pretty close too, 20 min walk. So, basically, you do not need a car to get around the main tourist points.

The cleanliness was far from good during the stay; after 4 days in the room, we noticed that dust was left there. The towels were kids' size. The Vallet service is a shame. I waited 20 minutes on the curbside to handle the keys, but nobody showed off. The front desk crew said there was nothing they could do; they did not even have the phone from the guy. At least one parking lot (paid - USD 20/day) is available across the street.

Nice lobby, big bathroom with huge walk in shower.

The room says "city view" but in reality it is is "another building's windows" - just wall to wall with another property. No vegetables for breakfast. It took some explanation to order just plain fresh veggies on a side. Air condition working in two modes: blowing ice cold air, or doing nothing at all.
