Very good

Second stay in this hotel

This was our second visit after staying 4 nights earlier on in the same month. This time we had a bigger room which was more than adequate for our needs. As before, the WiFi is one of the best we've ever experienced and great for using.

Nothing additional to our last review really as our room was bigger this time (and we had acquired an additional case).

BEWARE OF THE PRE AUTHORISATION

Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly.

This hotel took a pre authorisation payment from my credit card and then full payment from a different card, and I am still waiting for a refund on the pre authorisation 4 days after checkout. I will never book another hotel that asks for pre authorisation payments. Who else takes your money and holds it interest free for up to 30 days ( the time specified that it may take to complete the refund - if it in fact ever happens). Also the door cards were continually malfunctioning and the flooring was water damaged to the extent you were in danger of tripping on it. It wasn't worth the tarrif in my opinion and I am still wasting time and effort trying to reclaim my funds, which they are still holding.

Uncomfortable but cheap

Cheap, friendly front desk staff. Good access to AEP airport, the ferry terminal and lots of restaurants. Good shower temp and pressure.

The electrical plug was falling apart and one of the outlets didn't work. Beds are very close together and the whole thing feels tight. The bathroom sink is odd shaped and the counter is very narrow so it was difficult to even wash my face without hitting the faucet and spilling water around. Even with AC, the room felt humid. Wifi kept dropping (9th floor). And it was easy to hear talking/TVs from other rooms. I understand it's a budget stay, but I probably wouldn't stay for more than one night moving forward.

Too small rooms for a family although they know that weve made reservation for a family. Also the toilet is just next to the bed. And the bed was making too much noise even if you try to turn your right from left.

Superb

Our first experience of Argentina

Breakfast options are very good to suit all tastes. Location is convenient for other areas of the city and close to a great local restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room was a bit small for a couple with 2 large suitcases. A bar area to relax would be a good addition. These are minor points.

Was OK, but Id rather look for another place next time

Location, staff was friendly

No place for the suitcase in the room and the closet had too few shelves to store the luggage. It was very inconvenient to let the clothes in some place. Furthermore the window could not be opened, hence the room hardly had air exchange the four days I stayed. Changing the room wasnt possible. Unpleasant.
