On top of Kirkley Cliff, overlooking Lowestoft’s beach, Hotel Victoria is less than a mile south of the town centre. Built in 1897, the hotel has a Victorian exterior and a bright, modern decor inside.

Nice stay

Hotel is clean and comfortable and in a good state of repair, whilst not all rooms have been refurbished, all are well presented I needed to cancel a booking we had made for a relative who was travelling with us. They were very good about this and did not charge us. Staff were always nice and helpful

Breakfast service can be a bit slow (one morning we had to wait 45 minutes for our food).

i would have rated the hotel even higher but for a slight problem . [The problem : when i booked in i asked the lady what was the earliest time i could have breakfast, and she said 7am. When i went down on the Saturday a different lady in reception said its only weekdays we do breakfast at 7. Weekends its 8am.}

Enjoyable and would stay again

Room very nice and wonderful sea view , Brilliant breakfast very enjoyable and plenty.

Seating in bedroom could have been more comfy, and also not too keen on beach hut seating getting in and out.

The room and view were both fantastic, the room was mainly clean, however there were areas on the carpet that looked like recent building work had taken place with no after cleaning.

The parking is a total mess, the spaces are far too small even for a small hatchback
