Brilliant value for money!

Its not a modern hotel with all the mod cons but it is spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious with a huge wraparound balcony with a direct view of the sea and a big bathroom with a good walk-in shower. Its family run and the service was second to none. The family and staff couldnt do enough for us. Its a 2-star hotel with 5-star service.

It could do with a bit of updating and breakfast could do with a bit more variety, particularly of fresh fruit but, as I said in my review it is spotlessly clean and the staff are wonderful and incredibly helpful, so whats not to like.

Wonderful stay in exceptional hotel

The hotel is ideally situated - near enough to the Corso Umberto (15 minute walk) but far enough away to be very peaceful. The hotel staff are outstandingly helpful. Our room was well equipped with a large bathroom with excellent shower. There was always plenty of choice for breakfast; cereals, yoghurts, cheese, ham, savoury pastries, eggs, veg, fruit, cakes etc. and the view from the breakfast room was lovely. There were tables outside too if you prefer to eat alfresco. There is a small bar at the hotel which is open until 10pm where drinks and nibbles are served. The swimming pool and solarium was a lovely spot to cool off in. This hotel is family owned and run, and it shows. Their care and courtesy towards their guests is wonderful. It is also excellent value for money.

Great location, great staff and beautiful town.

Great location and breakfast. Real coffee (not a machine!). Staff were helpful and spoke very good English. Lovely pool area although we did not go to the pool.

Everything! Hotel staff was incredibly nice and helpful with everything we needed. Breakfast was great, rooms clean and spacious, big bathroom, quiet place. Definitely to return!

Taormina is a wonderful place and the hotel Soleado is just the rigjt place to enjoy it!

We visited the hotel at the end of October, and as the season is coming to an end, we enjoyed a peaceful holiday. We had the pool all to ourselves for two days, which is probably just right for Nordic people as the temperature is barely over 20 degrees :D The room was nice and big, with a balcony overlooking the sea! Breakfast was excellent and the service was superb! Thanks, I chose the same hotel every time!

In General very happy.

It was a really good decision to stay in Taormina. The Hotel is 5-10 mins walk from the Main Street if Taormina.

The internet (download) is okay, although not fully covered in every corner of the room. The Upload speed is close to zero, that means, you cannot synchronize your photos to iCloud or any cloud that you have. That will have to wait until your vacation is ended.

Well be back!

The staff was amazing, always happy and service minded. Nice rooms, good bathrooms with comfortable showers. Nice balcony aswell with a great view. Loved the engagement-surprise the left us after the breakfast, truly amazing gesture that really made us happy!

Missing a water boiler, flat iron and the beds was a bit hard, other than that everything was excellent!

Superb

Friendly staff, great location and stunning views

Perfect located in a quiet area approx 10min walk from the center. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was good and the view from the balcony was stunning. We could lay in our bed and look at the sunrise. I would happily stay there again and can highly recommend it.
