Location, comfort and communication were all excellent.

The hotel entrance is on a staircase so be prepared for a short bit steep access.

Right in the heart of Tamornia!

The location was fantastic! Right in the middle of Tamorina, so you'll always have places close by to eat. It can be pricey and overcrowded in the central area.

Don't really have anything I didn't like.

Great location, service and value.

The hotel is right in the middle of old town with easy access to lots of restaurants and historical sites. The owner is very attentive and helpful. We highly recommend them. Note, there are about a dozen stairs that youll need to carry your bags up and down to access the hotel.

Simple but comfortable accommodations in a great location.

The location was wonderful, about 10 min walk from one end of Urso Umberto pedestrian street and near all the main tourist sights. Taormina is not very big so once you are in the historic center, it's easy to walk to everything. The room had a comfortable bed, good AC, a nice balcony with chairs (best part) with great view of amphitheater & a small mini fridge. I enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. I would recommend this place as long as you don't have mobility issues.

No dedicated front desk. I picked this place because I thought it was a hotel, which I prefer, so that there is staff in case I have any issues. I just wasn't expecting a remote check in during normal check in hours. Detailed instructions were communicated by WhatsApp. That worked fine this time because I had a phone w/ a data plan but it would have been an issue if I didn't have a working phone with me. I did finally get to meet the staff on checkout day and they were very nice. Also older travelers should be aware that while the hotel has an elevator, there are about 40 steps up to the entrance of hotel. The room had a bathtub and great shower, but the bathtub sides are about 30 inches high so could be difficult getting in for someone with mobility issues. Not an issue with us but could be a problem with others. The room could use an extra outlet or two for charging phones/cameras.

Alex, the hotel operator, is friendly and very helpful.

You must climb a lot of stairs to and within the hotel. I am fit and capable of managing, but I would not book this hotel if I had any kind of mobility or strength issues.

Central location, easy access

The staircase to the entrance was dirty and I was embarrassed when my friends pointed this out. I also overbooked by 1 night and after many tries I could not reach booking. Com. The host was not helpful in this one matter.

Best of both worlds: location but with tranquility and value

Perfect location. Right off Corso Umberto but tucked away so that youre not getting any of the noise and bustle from the crowds. Value was great. Alessandro was amazing and available for anything

Nice hotel in Taormina, great location

Great hotel in Taormina! We really enjoyed our stay. It's a great location right amongst all the restaurants, shops and tourist sights. The host Alessandro was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and affordable. There is a coffee station near the reception area, available for all guests. Just a note that we got a taxi to the Hotel around 7.30pm and the taxi driver wouldn't drive to the hotel, he dropped us just before Porta Messina which was about a 6-7min walk with suitcases to the hotel. It's about a 10-12min walk to the bus station for buses to Catania.
